One of the challenges for Indonesia to develop its potential in solar PV is the cost for solar power plant investment is higher than the global average. There are a number of factors that cause the cost is higher, among others: the market for solar power plants is still small, demand growth for solar energy is still low, regulatory barriers and interconnection with PLN grid.
