Fadhil works as a program officer for the Clean, Affordable, and Secure Energy (CASE) project for Southeast Asia (SEA), a project that aims to change the narrative of the direction of the energy sector in Southeast Asia towards a fact and data-driven energy transition, aiming to increase political ambition to comply with the Paris Agreement. His main tasks are to conduct basic research/studies, provide analysis for supporting data, write working papers, presentations and publication materials and assist with program development to achieve the targets and outputs of the CASE for Southeast Asia project.

Fadhil started his career by working as an expert for members of the House of Representatives, in Commission VII in charge of Energy, Research and Innovation, and Industry. He contributed to the drafting of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Bill. She previously worked as a part-time researcher at the Energy Academy Indonesia in the Netherlands while pursuing her postgraduate education. Besides renewable energy, he is also interested in energy efficiency in buildings. Fadhil holds a green building consultant license issued by the Green Building Council Indonesia.

Fadhil earned his MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, with a focus on wind energy, and his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gadjah Mada University. In his spare time, he likes to spend time reading and freelancing as a graphic designer.
