The research, conducted jointly by IESR, CORE Indonesia, KPBB, and RCCC UI, used a simulation model to project changes in PM2.5 concentrations due to fuel quality improvement to the Euro 4 standard. By combining vehicle emission data from various sources, the research successfully measured the health and economic impacts of the policy. The results show that investment in fuel quality improvement can provide significant benefits to Indonesian society.
