Developing the Ecosystem of Electric Vehicles in Indonesia

The development of an electric vehicle ecosystem is fundamental to increase the level of electric vehicle adoption and ensuring its development to be self-sustaining. In this study, a comparative analysis of the strategies and policies of the United States, Norway and China is carried out in every aspect of the electric vehicle ecosystem, including government policies, charging infrastructure, supply and availability of electric vehicle models, the electric vehicle industry and supply chain, and public awareness. Then, lessons learned from the three countries are used as material to formulate appropriate and effective strategies and policies for the government to build an electric vehicle ecosystem to accelerate the development of electric vehicles in the country.
