Member of the National Energy Council, Satya Widya Yudha, believes that the determination of carbon prices should wait for a presidential regulation that discusses the economic value of carbon. On the other hand, Satya sees the cost of CCUS technology is still expensive because it is in the research and testing stage commercially. In response, according to the Executive Director of the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) Fabby Tumiwa, the cost to reduce carbon emissions with CCUS technology is high for PLN so it is not yet economical to implement.
