Director General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Dadan Kusdiana said that Indonesia’s solar energy potential reaches 207 Giga Watt (GW). He explained, getting here the cost of electricity production from Solar Power Plants (PLTS) is getting cheaper. Currently, there are several PLTS in Indonesia whose electricity prices are even below US$ 4 cents per kWh.
