Kontan | IESR: Increasing the share of new and renewable energy is an indication of the seriousness of PLN and the government

The Executive Director of the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) Fabby Tumiwa assessed that the high portion of New and Renewable Energy (EBT) plants in the 2021-2030 RUPTL indicate the seriousness of the government and State Electricity Company – PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in pursuing a new and renewable energy mix of 23% in 2025. The high development of renewable energy plants will have an impact on efforts to decarbonize the electricity sector
