His Muhammad Bintang joined the IESR research team in 2022 as Energy Storage Technologies & Battery Materials Analyst and continue to be Research Coordinator in Power and Energy Resources Group. Previously, he was involved in research works for about two and a half years in a South Korean state-of-the-art energy storage research center, he investigated potential next-generation battery technologies for Electric Vehicles (EV) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) applications.
Bintang obtained his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Indonesia (UI), where he also found a deep interest in renewable energy solutions for the power sector. Consequently, he earned a master degree in Energy Engineering from the Korea University of Science and Technology (UST) with expertise in energy storage materials and technologies. Bintang loves to drink ice americano in the morning and go sightseeing in his spare time.
