Shanghai, June 11, 2025 — Cloudy and cool weather greeted the arrival of the Indonesian delegation during an official visit to JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd. in Shanghai on Wednesday (11/6). The visit was part of the 75 Years Indonesia-China Exchange Visit program organized by the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) on June 10-14, 2025. Located about an hour’s drive from Shanghai Station, JA Solar is known as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of solar panels.
He Xiaodong, General Manager of JA Solar’s Production Facilities, said that founded in 2005, the company has made numerous global achievements, including cumulative shipments of 280 GW by the end of Q1 2025, with a global market share of 14.5 percent. JA Solar has also been consistently listed on the Fortune China 500 list for five consecutive years. In addition, JA Solar has a production capacity of more than 100 GW for modules, 70 GW for solar cells, 80 GW for wafers and ingots.
“We have also developed various large-scale solar projects, including solar power plants at Beijing Fengtai Railway Station, Shanghai Disneyland Park, and Daxing International Airport,” He Xiaodong emphasized.
In addition to production capacity, He Xiaodong emphasized that the company is committed to product quality and reliability through fully automated manufacturing systems and international certifications from international certification bodies such as TÜV SÜD and ETL. The company’s products have passed various long-term durability tests, such as damp-heat test, mechanical load test, and thresher test with standards three times stricter than IEC standards.
“With such excellent standards, we also offer competitive product warranties, including 12 years material and workmanship warranty, 25 years power linear warranty, up to 30 years for double-glass modules,” said He Xiaodong.
During the visit, the Indonesian delegation was introduced to JA Solar’s DeepBlue 4.0 Pro TOPCon module, which achieved mass production efficiency of 23.2% and was ranked Top 5 in the June edition of TaiyangNews, standing out as the highest performing TOPCon module on the list. They also learned about JA Solar’s latest research and development breakthrough, the TÜV-verified TOPCon module with an impressive efficiency of 25.5% and output power exceeding 700W, which underscores our ongoing commitment to solar innovation. This milestone reaffirms JA Solar’s leadership in delivering high-performance, reliable and forward-looking solar solutions to meet the growing demands of the global clean energy market.
