Digital Media Strategist

Alia‘s studies in International Relations at Universitas Brawijaya sparked her passion for campaigns and advocacy, particularly in social movements and climate change. Her bachelor’s thesis on a civil society organization’s communication strategy to challenge a fossil fuel company inspired her to work toward impactful purposes.

Prior to joining IESR, Alia learned how to formulate effective messages for campaigns. Her background spans over four years intertwining marketing, creativity, and diplomacy, with roles at AIESEC, the United States Consulate General in Surabaya, lingkaran.co, and more.

Outside of work, Alia finds joy in sightseeing, maintaining her Duolingo streak, reading books, watching movies and series, and even junk-journaling.
