Antara News | Indonesia needs 14 GW renewable energy to reach 2025 target: IESR

Renewable energy’s share in the national energy mix is currently recorded at just 11.2 percent, far below the target of 23 percent, executive director of the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR), Fabby Tumiwa, said during an online discussion here on Tuesday. According to Tumiwa, solar energy has the highest potential among other energy sources as the technology could be developed quickly from the smallest household scale to the industrial scale.
