Deon oversees the energy system transformation program, previously responsible for managing information and data systems. He has extensive experience in research related to energy, electricity, climate change, and the Indonesian economy.

Deon began his career in the coal mining industry, where he was responsible for implementing improvement projects within the company. He holds a master’s degree from RMIT University in Australia and a bachelor’s degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology.
