The Green Economy Program aims to transform the Indonesian economy, moving towards economies that emit fewer greenhouse gases while maintaining high economic growth. There are three channels in this program: the transition to fossil fuels, energy efficiency, and climate change mitigation. Therefore, the specific objectives of the program are thematically: (1) raising awareness of the urgency to move away from fossil fuels in the Indonesian energy system; (2) optimize the application of energy efficiency that leads to Indonesia’s energy decarbonization system; (3) strengthening domestic climate change mitigation policies.
