Dr. Juniko Nur Pratama (Juniko) is the Manager for Industry Decarbonization Program, leveraging his strong academic background for designing, implementing, and monitoring carbon emission reduction strategies across various industrial sectors in Indonesia. Juniko plays a strategic role in fostering collaboration between the government, the private sector, and other stakeholders to create a more sustainable industrial environment through the adoption of low-carbon technologies and energy efficiency.

Prior to joining IESR, Juniko completed his doctoral studies in Renewable Energy Engineering at the Korea National University of Science and Technology (UST). His research focused on the development and durability testing of fuel cells, particularly the use of composite membranes for polymer fuel cells (PEMFC). Beyond his technical expertise in electrochemistry, Juniko also possesses a strong social entrepreneurship spirit as the founder of Lapak Sampah Indonesia, a waste management startup that successfully partnered with the Depok city government to provide zero-waste environmental solutions.

Outside of his professional work in industrial emissions, Juniko enjoys exploring nature with his family. He often engages in discussions about low-carbon technology and waste-free environments during his leisure time as a way to appreciate the importance of environmental conservation. These activities reinforce his commitment to driving positive change in the industrial transition toward a greener future, while consistently promoting a low-emission lifestyle in his daily life.
