Katadata | Expert: Indonesia’s NRE Transition Delayed by The Amount of Fossil Energy Subsidy

At the beginning of the pandemic, the G20 countries spent at least USD 318.84 billion to support fossil energy, and fossil subsidies were counterproductive to efforts to make the energy transition and achieve decarbonization. These subsidies can be diverted to help accelerate the energy transition to reach 23% renewable energy by 2026.
