The Executive Director of the Institute for Essential Service Reform (IESR) Fabby Tumiwa assesses that there are quite a lot of investors in the form of private electricity producers or IPPs. Moreover, in recent years, IPP in the field of renewable energy is very interested in developing renewable energy in Indonesia. However, the problem is that PLN is still prioritizing PLTU.
