Executive Director of the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) Fabby Tumiwa said the practice of buying and selling carbon credits in Indonesia had long been started even without a legal regulation. There are several schemes, one of which is bilateral cooperation with Japan through the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) scheme.
