Kompas | Boosting Renewable Energy, Government Will Stop Coal Power Plant Project

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Starting in 2025, the government will no longer allow the construction of coal power plants. This is stated in the draft General Plan for the Provision of Electric Power (RUPTL) 2021-2030. In the RUPTL it is stated that the coal power plants whose status is still planned after 2025 will be changed to the Base Load or a generator that can operate 24 hours.
