Based on the 2023 Indonesia Energy Transition Outlook (IETO) report issued by the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR), in 2022, the renewable energy mix dropped to 10.4 percent compared to 2021, which was 11.5 percent. The government has set a target of 23 percent by 2025.
