The Executive Director of the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) Fabby Tumiwa assessed that the high portion of New and Renewable Energy (EBT) plants in the 2021-2030 RUPTL indicate the seriousness of the government and State Electricity Company – PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in pursuing a new and renewable energy mix of 23% in 2025. The high development of renewable energy plants will have an impact on efforts to decarbonize the electricity sector
