Fabby Tumiwa stated that COP26 is a step to strengthen the decarbonization target where it is seen that the energy transition to renewable energy has become the global norm. PLN also needs to be more aggressive in making the transition from coal-fired power plants to renewable energy. In the short term, PLN needs to immediately come out with a renewable energy generator auction plan aligned with the Electric Power Supply Business Plan by increasing the pipeline of renewable energy projects for the 2023-2030 period.
