Muhammad Aulia Anis

Green Economy Program Officer

Muhammad Aulia Anis, or as he usually goes by Aulia, is a Program Officer for the Green Economy Program at the Institute for Essential Service Reform (IESR). Prior to joining IESR in January, 2024, Aulia worked as a Green Economy Researcher for Aksi Ekologi dan Emansipasi Rakyat (AEER) – a non-profit organization focusing on democracy and energy transition issues. Previously, she also had several experiences working part-time and interning in several places, including; as Corporate and Supply Chain Intern at the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Research and Publication Intern at The SMERU Research Institute, and Research Assistant at the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM. During her work, Aulia has produced a study report published by AEER on analyzing the financial aspects of Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) funding. In addition, she also produced a working paper entitled “A Hazy Future: Exploring the Effect of Air Pollution on Child Development in Indonesia” published by Gadjah Mada Economic Working Paper Series. Outside of professional activities, Aulia enjoys reading, running and weight training, and hiking.
