Nurul Fadilah (Nurul) serves as Project Officer Subnational Central Java. In this role, Nurul is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of projects and ensuring effective coordination with various local stakeholders across Central Java. She acts as a vital link to ensure that IESR’s clean energy initiatives at the subnational level are well-implemented and beneficial to local communities.

Nurul holds a Master’s degree from the University of Stirling, Scotland, specializing in International Energy and Environmental Law. Prior to joining IESR, she gained professional experience as an assessor at an external consulting firm, where she specialized in evaluating State-Owned Enterprises’ (SOE) compliance with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles. Her legal background and auditing experience provide a valuable dimension to the IESR team in understanding the regulatory and governance aspects of the energy transition.

Beyond her professional duties, Nurul is an active individual who enjoys physical challenges in the great outdoors. She regularly spends her free time exercising, with a particular fondness for jogging and hiking. The combination of her expertise in international energy law and her agility in on-the-ground coordination makes Nurul a reliable professional in guiding complex sustainable energy access programs in Central Java, ensuring they remain regulatory-compliant yet inclusive for all citizens.
