Sustainable Mobility and Transport Analyst

Rifki Pradityo (Rifki) serves as a Sustainable Mobility and Transport Analyst at IESR. In this role, he is responsible for conducting technical assessments and policy analysis to promote greener transportation systems in Indonesia. Rifki specializes in urban transport planning, focusing on developing low-emission and inclusive mobility solutions. His expertise in preliminary and feasibility studies, as well as Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs), is vital to IESR’s mission of advocating for a transition from private vehicle dependency toward integrated public and non-motorized transport systems.

Rifki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Indonesia and a Master’s degree in Transportation Planning from the University of Leeds, UK. Before joining IESR, he built a five-year career as a transportation analyst at several local and international consultancies, including PT Mitra Pembangunan Jaya and Egis, focusing on public transport feasibility. During his master’s studies, Rifki conducted extensive research on the potential of bike-sharing services in Bandung as a daily alternative to motorbikes, benchmarking global best practices to be adapted for Indonesian cities.

Having recently returned to Indonesia in late 2024 after completing his studies, Rifki is now actively contributing to the development of sustainable mobility policies in the country. Beyond his professional work, he maintains a balanced lifestyle by exercising and gaming with his friends. Rifki also cherishes spending his leisure time with his beloved wife, who remains a constant source of inspiration as he pursues his career in energy transition and sustainable transportation.
