Turas Nur Vemantyasto, commonly called Turas, is a Program Officer for the Sustainable Energy Access Program at the Institute for Essential Service Reform (IESR). Turas is a graduate of Civil Engineering & Planning Education from Yogyakarta State University. He continued his master’s studies at Gadjah Mada University, taking the Master in Transportation Systems and Engineering program. During his college years, Turas actively participated in various organizational activities. He became part of the Student Association with the role of Academic Department Staff, where he was responsible for organizing the National Seminar & Call for Papers. In the following years, Turas became an administrator of the Ikatan Alumni Sipil (IAS) Yogyakarta State University with the position of External Department Staff and served as Coordinator of the Ikatan Alumni Sipil (IAS) for the 2019-2023 period. During college, Turas also actively worked as a freelancer in the construction field, involved in road planning projects, bridge planning, and the implementation of the Sertifikat Laik Fungsi (SLF). In his spare time, Turas often fills his time by reading comics.
