Delima Ramadhani
Manajer Kebijakan Iklim dan Udara Bersih
Delima Ramadhani serves as the Manager Climate and Clean Air Policy. In this role, Delima is responsible for coordinating scientific analyses to measure and evaluate climate change mitigation targets, policies, and actions in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. She ensures that these outcomes are compared against and aligned with the globally agreed Paris Agreement targets. Her work is vital in providing science-based data to support robust policy recommendations for the government in reducing national carbon emissions and improving air quality.
Delima holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Forestry from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany. Prior to joining IESR, she began her research career as a research assistant for the Indonesia-Germany Collaborative Research Center 990: EFForTS, where she managed forest and non-forest landscape assessment projects. Her academic and research background in Germany provides a strong foundation for understanding ecosystem dynamics and forest governance as a key pillar of climate change mitigation.
Delima’s commitment to nature conservation has been evident since her undergraduate days through various environmental campaigns. In 2021, she and her team won a grant from her university in Germany to launch a Climate Literacy project targeting youth across Indonesia. As a firm believer in climate science, Delima integrates these values into her daily life by consistently practicing a low-waste lifestyle since 2017.
