The Institute for Essential Services Reform assesses that the mechanism for procuring large-scale solar power projects (PLTS) needs to be addressed to make the price of electricity produced more competitive. Supporting policies and regulations in Indonesia for the construction of large-scale solar power plants, especially in the auction process, are still less attractive or even hinder the development of solar installations.
